Gardaí have arrested three people as part of their investigation into the murder of Lee Slattery in 2010.

The body of Mr Slattery, 24, was found buried in a shallow grave on the Delmege House estate near Moyross on May 31, 2010.

Gardaí made three arrests in the last 24 hours in connection with the investigation. 

A woman in her 30s was arrested on Sunday evening, while two males aged in their 30s and 40s were arrested on Monday morning.

All three are detained at a Garda station in the Limerick Division.

To date, 21 arrests have been made in connection with this investigation.

Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact them at the incident room in Mayorstone Garda Station.
