Cork player scoops €1m in Friday's Euromillions raffle

Euromillions players in Cork are being urged to check their tickets from Friday's draw, as the National Lottery confirmed one player in the Rebel County has won over €1m.
The €1,005,000 prize was on in Friday night’s special ‘Ireland Only Raffle’, which saw 10 raffle codes generated with each winning €5,000.
The 10 winning raffle codes drawn on Friday were put into an additional draw to see which one would win an additional €1m on top of the usual €5,000 prize for the category.

The National Lottery has advised the lucky Cork punter to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should then contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lotto HQ thereafter.
