A young woman from Cork who died after becoming unwell in the Philippines last week has been remembered as “a beacon of light” and a “lovely, kind, and positive person”.

Meg Haugh, aged 26, from Ballintemple, died suddenly while canyoneering in the town of Badian in the Province of Cebu on May 2.
