A man has been hospitalised after he was struck by a vehicle following an altercation between a group of people in Limerick City. 

Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to the "public order and reckless endangerment incident" which happened on Hyde Road at approximately 5.15pm on Tuesday.
