Two cars have been seized and five bank accounts with deposits totalling €17,000 have been frozen as part of a Garda operation targeting a Munster-based criminal organisation.

Officers attached to Clonmel Garda Station carried out search operations at locations in Tipperary and Clare on Saturday, March 27, and Tuesday, April 30.

During these searches, two cars each valued at approximately €60,000 were seized, along with €2,950 in cash.
