Three hospitalised with serious injuries after aggravated burglary in Cork City
Three occupants of the property — two women and a man — were injured during the incident.Â
A Garda investigation is underway after three people were hospitalised following an aggravated burglary in Cork early on Wednesday morning.Â
The burglary took place at approximately 6am at a property on Millerd Street in Cork City.
Three occupants of the property — two women and a man — were injured during the incident.Â
They were subsequently taken to Cork University Hospital (CUH) for treatment. Their injuries are understood to be serious but not life-threatening.
A sum of cash was reported stolen.Â
A Garda spokesperson told the that a technical examination of the scene is due to place later this morning.
"No arrests have been made at this time," the spokesperson said.Â
"Investigations are ongoing."
