Some roads 'impassable' as Cork remains under status orange rain warning

A number of roads were flooded overnight, rendering them "impassable", as heavy rain fell across Cork, Kerry and Waterford.

The status orange rain warning from Met Éireann remains in place for Cork and Kerry until midday, while a status yellow alert expires in Waterford at the same time.
