A young Cork boy who defied expectations after sustaining serious injuries in a hit-and-run incident is finally able to be recognised for his bravery with a trip to Disneyland four years after he first hoped to travel.

Zac Higgins and his siblings Belle, aged 9, and Max, 12, will join dozens of brave children travelling to Disneyland, Paris on Sunday, March 10.
