Murder investigation launched after body of gun enthusiast found in Kerry home

Gardaí said they are continuing to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the man's body

A murder investigation is underway after a man in his 80s was found dead in Castlemaine, Co Kerry on Sunday.

Patrick 'Paddy' O’Mahony, a former gun dealer and firearms expert, was shot at his home on Sunday, it is understood.
