Ballycotton RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat, The Austin Lidbury, was requested to launch by Valentia Coast Guard at 6.55am this morning. 

Three fishermen have been rescued off the East Cork coast after their boat suffered difficulties and was left adrift.

The 12-meter boat that was disabled 23 miles southeast of Ballycotton lighthouse and was brought to safety by a volunteer lifeboat crew from Ballycotton RNLI during the early hours of Sunday.
