They may look forlorn but these toys hanging around the Kinsale Road civic amenity site in Cork are actually getting a second chance at making children happy.
The sight of the likes of teddy bears, dolls, and dinosaurs tied to the fencing of the recycling depot on the South City Link Road has laid bare the burgeoning issue of how to deal with unwanted toys in recent years.
