The search for missing Cork man, Jamie Hannigan, has been stood down following the discovery of a man's body in Cobh on Tuesday.
Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance.
Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in locating 41-year-old Jamie Hannigan, who was last seen in Cork City on Saturday night.
Mr Hannigan was last seen at 12.30am on South Main Street.
He is described as being approximately 5'8" in height, with a slim build and is bald.
He is known to frequent Cork City and Kinsale areas.
Gardaí are concerned for his wellbeing.
