Popular Midleton restaurant must relocate due to damage caused by Storm Babet floods

Farmgate restaurant has been operating in Midleton for over 40 years, and on Tuesday, it's owners confirmed that the costs to restore the building are "far beyond our means"

A popular Cork restaurant has announced that it must relocate in order to continue trading, due to the severity of damage caused by flooding during last month's Storm Babet.

Just over a month ago, Midleton was among the areas badly damaged by rain and subsequent flooding during Storm Babet.
