Gardaí have stood down the missing person appeal for 69-year-old Maureen O'Connor.

The decision was made following the discovery of a woman's body earlier today.

Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance.

October 30, 2023: Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a woman missing from her home in Glengarrif, Co Cork since Wednesday.

69-year-old Maureen O’Connor was reported missing from her home in Skehill, Glengarrif.

She is described as being approximately 5’6” in height and of a slim build, with grey hair.

Gardaí and Maureen’s family are concerned for her welfare.
