Cork and Kerry hit with status yellow rainfall warning from midnight

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Cork and Kerry.
The warning comes into effect from midnight and will run until midday on Wednesday.

Wednesday will be a largely dry day in the west and north of the country with sunny spells developing.
It will be cloudier elsewhere, with outbreaks of rain which will gradually clear in most places by early afternoon.
However, rain and drizzle will be "slow to clear" in south Munster and south Leinster and "patchy outbreaks" may persist here into the evening.
Temperatures will feel "much cooler than recent days", with afternoon highs of only 11C to 14C expected.
Wednesday night will be mostly dry and chilly, with long clear spells.
It will be cloudier near southern coasts, with the "odd spot of drizzle possible."
Lowest temperatures of 3C to 7C are expected but this may drop a little lower in parts of the midlands.
Light variable breezes will also allow some pockets of mist and fog to develop.
