The crew from Thurles fire station came under attack from a large group of people who had gathered at a bonfire on the edge of the town. 

A fire crew was forced to retreat from a Halloween night callout after coming under attack from a large group of people attending a bonfire.

One of the Tipperary Fire & Rescue Service crews were subjected to rocks and bottles being hurled at them during one of the country’s busiest nights for fire units.
