Cork and Limerick hospitals top of the TrolleyWatch list

In total, there are 189 patients on trolleys around the country with 166 in emergency departments.

Sligo University Hospital and Midland Regional are next worst on the list with 17 patients each.

Elsewhere in Munster, UH Kerry has eight patients without a bed, while there are no patients on trolleys in either South Tipperary General Hospital, Bantry General, Ennis or UH Waterford.

There are two on trolleys in the Mercy Hospital in Cork.
