A timeline analyst told a murder trial jury that the deceased and the accused were seen leaving a New Year’s Eve party together in Cork City nine minutes after he had sent a text to his friend in Brazil saying: “Forgive me, bro, sorry for everything.”

Rhona Campbell of the Garda Síochána Analysis Service gave evidence to the jury summarising phone texts and movements captured on CCTV in the case where 32-year-old Miller Pacheco denies the murder of his former girlfriend, 28-year-old Bruna Fonseca, at his apartment at Liberty Street in Cork on January 1, 2023.
