Man taken to hospital after being assaulted with 'glass implement' in Dublin

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them

The man, aged in his 50s, was struck by a glass implement that was thrown at him. 

A man has been taken to the hospital after being assaulted with a "glass implement" in Dublin.

The assault occurred on the Oscar Traynor Road in Dublin 5 on Thursday, shortly after 6.30pm.
