Four young men arrested after several incidents in Co Mayo

Four young men have been arrested after a series of incidents in Co Mayo.
Gardaí are investigating a number of of criminal damage incidents, which occurred at homes in Westport and Newport on Sunday.

According to a Garda spokesperson, the damage involved the breaking of windows at these properties.

"Gardaí have arrested four adult males, two aged in their 20s, two in their late teens, as part of this investigation," they added.

The four are currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Garda Stations in Co Mayo.

Investigations are ongoing.
