Man in critical condition after being hit by car and assaulted by its occupants in Dublin

The victim, aged in his late 30s, was knocked down by a vehicle before a number of men exited the vehicle 'and continued to assault him with weapons'

Investigating gardaí have now reissued an appeal for witnesses to the incident.

A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was hit by a vehicle and then attacked by its occupants in Dublin earlier this month.

Gardaí in Ronanstown are investigating the serious assault which happened at around 6.30pm in the Cappaghmore estate in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, on the evening of Friday, December 5.
