Two men have appeared in court charged with the possession of explosives after being arrested during a cross-border antiterrorism operation.
The court was told the charges arise from a garda investigation into an alleged terrorist attack in the planning by a right-wing extremist group. It also heard details of a video found which contained what appeared to be a practice of a statement that would be released subsequent to a successful attack to be carried out on a Galway mosque.Â
