Cork gardaí seized 2kg of cannabis after stopping speeding car

Gardaí in Gurranabraher seized 2kg of cannabis herb after stopping a Volvo S40 driven at speed through Popham’s Road in Cork on a date in January 2023, and now the driver has been sentenced for his part in the escapade.

Detective Garda Linda O’Keeffe gave evidence at Cork Circuit Criminal Court in the case against 28-year-old Michael O’Sullivan, of 3 Ballycurreen, Airport Road, Cork.
