High Court orders Cork solicitor to finalise case which has been hanging over elderly couple for 13 years

John Moylan had represented the couple in High Court proceedings arising out of a dispute over a loan agreement with a bank which had ended in 2012 in their favour but had failed to progress it, court heard

Solicitor John Moylan of Richard Moylan and Co, Mallow, Co Cork, was ordered by the president of the High Court on Monday to finalise the case of the couple, who are now elderly, and pay them €1,500 compensation.

A Cork solicitor has been ordered by the High Court to immediately finalise a case which a couple won against a bank 13 years ago but which they say has since taken over their lives.
