Cork man allegedly breached domestic violence order after sending woman 17 voicemails

At a hearing of Cork District Court, Judge Mary Dorgan refused bail and remanded the accused in custody until October 9.

A young woman was terrified when her ex-partner allegedly breached a domestic violence order by sending her 17 voicemails in one day, and making threats to send parties to her house “to kick the living shit” out of her.

Donal Daly solicitor said the defendant would adhere to an order to stay away and only have respectful communication in relation to access to children, or indeed he would have no communication whatsoever if required.
