Armed gardaí investigate reported stabbing in centre of Cork City that leaves two men in hospital

A businessman said a knife was produced in the incident

Armed gardaí rushed to the scene of an alleged attack in Cork City centre on Monday, after which two men were brought to hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Witnesses say a fight broke out between two men near a bakery and cafe on Patrick’s Street at noon.
