Teen in 'critical condition' after being assaulted in Dublin

The victim was taken to Mater Misericordiae University Hospital on Sunday night, according to a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána

A teen is in critical condition after being assaulted in Dublin. The assault happened at a licensed premises on Eden Quay at around 10pm on Sunday.

"A male juvenile (aged in his teens) was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where he is in critical condition," said a garda spokesperson.

The scene was preserved and a technical examination has been completed.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident or who may have video footage to contact Store Street Garda Station on [phone], the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.

Investigations are ongoing.
