Sentencing on the theft offences was adjourned until September 23 to allow for a probation report to be prepared.

More than €3,000 worth of property was stolen by a Cork woman from a variety of 20 shops in the city and suburbs on various dates over the past two years.

Bridget Cawley, aged 38, of Allinett’s Lane, Gerald Griffin St, Blackpool, Cork, pleaded guilty to all charges and faced sentencing at Cork District Court today.
