Girl, 4, stable after surgery on skull fracture from scrambler bike hit-and-run

The accident happened on the same day gardaí seized seven e-bikes and six e-scooters in Dublin

A four-year-old girl struck by a scrambler bike in west Dublin a week ago is in a stable condition in hospital after undergoing surgery, it is understood.

The child suffered a skull fracture and swelling on the brain after a young man, driving an electric scrambler, a Surron, hit her in Tyrellstown, then sped off without checking on her condition.
