Driver who sped from gardaí in West Cork village found with 35 deals of cocaine in his underwear, court told

Garda alleged accused was very active in the sale or supply of drugs in West Cork

Gardaí patrolling Glandore village came across a silver BMW which failed to stop for them and took off at speed, coming to a stop in Rosscarbery village, court heard.

A motorist allegedly sped from gardaí in Glandore village, until he came to a halt in Rosscarbery and was found with 35 deals of cocaine in his underwear.

27-year-old Ross Fitzgerald, formerly of 5 Cork Road, Skibbereen, Co Cork, was arrested and appeared on Monday at Cork District Court.
