Gardaí said there was an objection to bail being granted to the man at Cork District Court.

Gardaí in Bandon arrested a man for threatening and drunken behaviour in the West Cork town on Saturday as well as counts of stealing property from two local pharmacies.

Sergeant John Dineen said there was an objection to bail being granted to William O’Driscoll, aged 51, who gave his address as Kilbeg, Bandon, Co Cork, at Cork District Court.
