A 37-year-old man who was exasperated by the noise and house parties from students around UCC reached in a window, picked up a jumper and threw it at a tenant saying: “Keep it down now lads”, and on Monday he faced sentencing for trespass.

Roy Sexton, of 5 Bandon Road, had the case against him listed for trial at Cork Circuit Criminal Court, but he pleaded guilty to the trespass charge instead.
