A woman in her 30s has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the lives of two pedestrians in Blanchardstown, Dublin, on St Stephen’s Day last year.
She has been released on bail and is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on June 17 at 10.30am.
Georgina Hogg Moore (39) and Anthony Hogg (40) died after being struck by a car while crossing the road near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
They had been walking home to the nearby Whitestown estate with their daughter Becky and another pedestrian at the time.
A man in his 40s who was arrested earlier this week in connection with the investigation has been released without charge. Gardaí said a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Investigations are ongoing.
