Cork man jailed for threatening to 'slice' garda who stopped him from shoplifting

A member of An Garda Síochána who intervened when he saw a man attempting to shoplift in a supermarket was threatened by the accused that he would "slice" him the next time he saw him.

Now at Cork District Court, 28-year-old Gavin Reidy of Cul na Cille, Church Hill, Carrigaline, County Cork, has been jailed by Judge Treasa Kelly for three months.
