A 42-year-old man was charged with carrying out a robbery of Centra in Broadale on Maryborough Hill, Cork, on Wednesday.

Peter Mullins, of Argideen Lawn, Togher, Cork, was charged by Detective Garda David Shannon with carrying out the robbery of €615 in cash in various note denominations from a shop assistant on Wednesday.
