Cork woman found man coming out of attic with hacksaw as intruders ransacked house

One of the men found in the Carrigaline house jailed for nine months

The court hearing in Cork heard the house was ransacked and flooded.

 The owner of a house that was about to be renovated in Carrigaline found the place ransacked and several intruders present when she returned – including one man coming out of the attic carrying a hacksaw.

One of the men on the property — Christopher Judge, aged 42, with an address at Pairc Na Daire, Clonard — was jailed for nine months today after he pleaded guilty to his part in trespassing on the premises.
