Quam Babatunde was fatally stabbed on South Anne Street, Dublin on February 15 2025.

A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of asylum seeker Quham Babatunde in Dublin earlier this month.

Mr Babatunde, a 34-year-old Nigerian man, died after an incident on South Anne Street in the city centre at about 3am on Saturday, February 15. 

Mr Babatunde was found unresponsive by gardaí at the scene. He was treated by emergency services personnel and rushed to St James's Hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested on Tuesday morning.

He is currently being held at a garda station in Dublin under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
