Man, 20s, charged following seizure of €528k worth of drugs at Dublin Airport

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested following a seizure of €528,000 worth of drugs at Dublin Airport.

In excess of €528,000 of suspected cannabis herb was seized by Revenue Customs Officers on Tuesday morning at the airport.

The man was arrested by gardaí and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda station in north Dublin.

He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Thursday morning at 10.30am.

Investigations are ongoing.
