Man, 20s, charged in connection with Stoneybatter knife attack

A man is to appear in court on Tuesday in connection with a knife attack in a Dublin neighbourhood on Sunday.
Three men were injured during the incident in Stoneybatter on Sunday afternoon.
Two of the men remain in hospital receiving treatment for serious but non-life threatening injuries, while the other has less serious injuries.
On Tuesday, gardaí confirmed that a man in his 20s who had been arrested close to the scene on Sunday has been charged.
He is scheduled to appear before Dublin District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice later this morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan described the incident as a “random” knife attack.
