Judge Helen Boyle adjourned the case on the opening day of the Cork Circuit Criminal Court sessions until the next sessions commencing on April 28.

The trial of a 76-year-old man charged with defrauding the European Research Executive Agency of grants totalling over half a million euro was adjourned today for mention on April 28.

The defence indicated that a large volume of prosecution documentation had been served on them and that time would be needed to go through all of the material.
