A judge has approved damages settlements for two young children who suffered distress and trauma when gardaí turned up at their home in a “wrong house” search.

Barrister Conor Kearney told Judge Jennifer O’Brien in the Circuit Civil Court that the children's mother, in her night attire, had fallen down stairs in her attempt to get to the front door and open it for the gardaí.
