21-year-old Michael Faulkner of 8 Curraheen Close, Bishopstown, Cork, was granted bail.

The Traveller Mediation Service is to visit a number of men remanded in custody to Cork Prison arising out of a feud which erupted into violent armed skirmishes at a busy supermarket.

Three men who had their bail applications listed for Tuesday indicated through their solicitors that they would renew the applications for bail on Monday, January 20, in light of the proposed mediation.
