A book of evidence was served on Monday on a 76-year-old man charged with defrauding the European Research Executive Agency of grants totalling over half a million euro.

Sergeant Dave Delea confirmed service of the book of evidence on Tony Herbert on the charge which relates to an alleged offence between 2013 and 2015.
