Man accused of stealing €20k from Cork apartment leaving pint of stout behind remanded in custody

Burglary was carried out on August 24 at Millerd Street, Cork

Director of Public Prosecutions had directed trial by indictment and also consented to the accused entering a signed plea of guilty at Cork District Court and to be sentenced at Cork Circuit Criminal Court, court heard.

A 52-year-old man accused of stealing €20,000 cash during a burglary from an apartment in Cork and who allegedly left a pint glass of stout behind him at the scene was remanded in custody until January 16.
