Second arrest over death of man in Wexford on New Year's Eve

A man, aged in his 30s, who was arrested in connection with the incident, remains in Garda custody

Gardaí have arrested a second man, aged in his 30s, in connection with the death of a man in his 60s following an incident in New Ross, Co Wexford, on New Year’s Eve.

The man was detained yesterday evening and is being held at a garda station in the east of the country under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
