A member of An Garda Síochána had his skin broken when his hand was bitten by a woman he was arresting, and the sentencing judge described it as a nasty injury.

Judge Mary Dorgan put 31-year-old Aisling O’Riordan of Mount Farran, Assumption Road, Cork, on a one-year probation bond for this and other crimes.
