Man arrested on suspicion of money laundering offences as drugs seized in Co Tipperary

Gardaí stopped a vehicle on the M8 near Thurles on Tuesday

A man has been arrested on suspicion of money laundering offences following the seizure of cocaine and cannabis worth around €100,000 in Co Tipperary.

Shortly before 9pm on Tuesday, gardaí stopped a vehicle on the M8 near Thurles, and during the course of a search, over €27,000 of cash was discovered concealed in the vehicle.
