A woman who was told to leave Dunnes Stores reacted to the security man by hitting him in the face, smashing a mannequin causing €400 worth of damage and threatening to set fire to his home while his family was sleeping.

Noreen Foley, 36, of 1B Grenville Court, Grenville Place, Cork, pleaded guilty to the charges brought against her by Garda Aideen Hallahan in respect of an incident at Dunnes Stores in Merchants Quay, Cork, on November 9.
