Man jailed for stealing gold ring and gold bracelet worth over €2k from shop in Cork

The man had 157 previous convictions, including eight for burglary, one for robbery, five for handling stolen property, and 30 for theft

A gold ring and a gold bracelet worth a total of over €2,000 were tried on by a 30-year-old man in a shop in Cork who left without paying for them and now he has been jailed for four months. 

Judge Treasa Kelly imposed that sentence on Matthew Ginnifer at Cork District Court.
