A 15-year-old who is accused of stealing a car in September and travelling in another stolen car in October was charged on Thursday with smashing the window of car parked at Mahon Point shopping centre.

Garda Karen Ring objected to bail being granted to the 15-year-old. He was arrested for smashing the rear window of a car parked in the Tesco carpark at Mahon Point just after 12 noon on Wednesday, December 4.
